The patrol division consists of five full time Officers and one Sergeant.  These Officers are responsible for carrying out the basic functions of the Police Department; which include protecting life and property, maintaining public order, being first responders to emergencies, motor vehicle traffic safety, making arrests and enforcement of laws and ordinances.

Patrol Officers also spend their time building relationships and partnerships with the community to assist in the prevention of crime.
